The divine speech

Did the Prophet deliver the task?

And what comes after the Prophet has delivered the message and conveyed the teachings?

There is no doubt that Prophet Mohammed has completed the delivery of the divine message. The prophet has convoyed the teachings entrusted by Allah, which is to convoy the message of Islam to the creation of Allah of all ages and races, at all times and places, to both who lived in his life, and who converted to Islam after the death of the prophet. So, the task of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is over. What after the end of the task of the prophet Mohammed?

This question is the focus of what was written by the researcher and Islamic thinker Ali Muhammad Al-Shurafa Al-Hammadi, in his outstanding book «Muslims  … between religious Speech and the divine Speech», issued by «Al-Nokhba House for printing, publishing and distribution». In his book, the author states that the Prophet has completed his mission and convoyed the message with no doubt. However, the author confirms that the Muslims have fallen in completing the task. Muslims are busy with the dogmatic and sectarian conflicts. They have forgotten to think of the book of Allah. Although Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, ordered Muslims, in a frank statement and a direct order from Allah, who ordered people to commit to His book and his orders and stay away from the prohibitions, and do not follow their whims and not to follow those who claim to be guardians on the faith of Islam.

The great Islamic thinker and scholar Ali Al-Shurafa, continues discussing this serious issue that he boldly wrote about in his book “Muslims: Between Religious Speech and Divine Speech.” The author says: “Allah has entrusted His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, to convoy His message to all people in the holy Qur’an to guide people to the path of upright and good. The Prophet honestly convoyed the message and he tolerated all kinds of abuse, hatred and rumors in a manner that is unshakable, that Allah will support him. The prophet insisted to continue his call without fear or hesitation. Allah completed his religion, and completed the nation’s grace in the Farewell pilgrimage (The last pilgrimage of the Prophet).

This is clear in the verse: (Today have I complemented for you your religion and made all grace abound in you. And I have chosen for you Islam as the acceptable system of faith and worship). (Almaidah 3)

In this verse, people are informed of the completion of the divine message, which Allah revealed to His Messenger, to be a guide for people and a light that brings them out of the darkness to the light. This is the last of the messages that Allah has deposited in the Holy Qur’an, and the faith in all the apostles and prophets before Mohammed, where Allah placed in the divine Speech for people, the values of justice and equality and the spread of peace and cooperation between human beings, and the divine legislation that regulates the relationship between Allah and his creation and also regulates the relationship between man and his society, and the rights of the orphans and the regulation of the relationship between man and his wife and with the other human beings in all relations. Also, the holy Qur’an encouraged people to draw the laws governing their lives from the divine legislation based on mercy and justice.

Allah Almighty reserved His right to judge the creation on the doomsday as the Almighty says: ((Unto Us shall be their return. And then, their judgment will be Our concern)).  (AlGhashiyyah: 25)
